EU – Singapore Matchmaking event
November 11, 2021 - November 12, 2021
In the context of the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) on 8-12 November 2021, the European Commission (EC) will organise the EU – Singapore Matchmaking Event. The matchmaking will occur virtually on 11 and 12 November. The event will be jointly organised by the European Commission and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) with support from the EU Delegation to Singapore, the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (ESF). It will be facilitated by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), including its local “EEN Singapore”. The Matchmaking will gather EU cluster organisations and SMEs, as well as clusters and SMEs from non-EU COSME countries and Singapore. It will provide a unique opportunity to promote Cluster to Cluster (C2C), Cluster to Business (C2B) and Business to Business (B2B) exchanges between participants. It will be organised virtually through the B2Match platform. The aim is to promote information exchange and networking opportunities for European cluster organisations, their members and companies with counterparts from Singapore. Further objectives are to:
- Explore trade, investment and partnering opportunities related to the event’s focus areas
- Initiate discussions that would ultimately result in Letters of Interest, Memorandum of Understanding, and other types of partnership agreements.
